Yesterday I saw this post in my RSS feeds, and I just want to remember this (and make sure that I’m really a senior \ud83d\ude09 )<\/p>\n

So here is a list of stuff you need to know when you say you are a senior Flash\/ActionScript developer:

  1. The Elastic Racetrack<\/li>\n
  2. FlexSDK, mxmlc, compc, and all that jazz<\/li>\n
  3. Player Events, Custom Events, Event Bubbling<\/li>\n
  4. Statements, Keywords, and Directives<\/li>\n
  5. ASDoc<\/li>\n
  6. Managing visual assets (images, fonts, CSS, etc)<\/li>\n
  7. Arrays, Collections, Dictionaries, Mapping<\/li>\n
  8. Programmatic motion (tweening, easing)<\/li>\n
  9. OOP and Coding Against Frameworks<\/li>\n
  10. Version control<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
