Wp-slimstat is a simple web statistic wordpress plugin, which means you can see how many visits you get and from where\/how many\/etc. But the good part is that you can see it when you login there will be an extra tab on the Dashboard to the statistics &#8220;Slimstat&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update #2: <\/strong> RTFM &#8230;.. in the README.txt (chapter 8. LOCALIZATION) there is an explanation about this &#8220;fatal error&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>make sure you have set your blog\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s default language in wp-config.php,<br \/>\ne.g. : \u00e2\u20ac\u0153define (&#8216;WPLANG&#8217;, &#8216;en_US&#8217; );\u00e2\u20ac? and that the corresponding<br \/>\nlocalization file exists in wp\/slimstat\/lang folder.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I found my error on the <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/59484\">wordpress.org<\/a> support forum&#8230; the solution I describe here still works. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.duechiacchiere.it\/wp-slimstat\/\" title=\"track your blog\" hreflang=\"en\"><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Today I tried to install <a href=\"http:\/\/www.duechiacchiere.it\/wp-slimstat\/\">wp-slimstat<\/a> and all I got:<br \/>\n<code><br \/>\nFatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: cachedfilereader in <em>[snipped]<\/em>\/wp-includes\/wp-l10n.php on line 67<br \/>\n<\/code><br \/>\nhmmm&#8230;<br \/>\nI could not find the answer to this problem on the site of the creator of this wp-plugin but it seems that all wordpress-2.0.4-users have this problem!<br \/>\nSo I try good old google &#8230;. and found the answer..<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/mu.wordpress.org\/forums\/topic.php?id=888\">http:\/\/mu.wordpress.org\/forums\/topic.php?id=888<\/a><\/p>\n<pre>\r\ntry open wp-config.php or wp-config-sample.php\r\nedit this lines:\r\ndefine ('WPLANG', '');\r\nto\r\ndefine ('WPLANG', ' ');\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>And now I have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.duechiacchiere.it\/wp-slimstat\/\">wp-slimstat<\/a>, so I know what you did last hour!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update #1: I forgot to explain what wp-slimstat is.
